Scarlets back row Josh Turnbull has been suspended for five weeks after a citing for a dangerous tackle (Law 10.4e), following his side’s Magners League match against Edinburgh on Saturday, was upheld.
The hearing of the WRU Professional Disciplinary Panel took place at the Millennium Stadium this evening (Wednesday), chaired by Terry Vaux.
The offence was deemed in the mid range of sanctions and the player will be free to play from January 14.
