Newport Gwent Dragons Head Coach Paul Turner is determined to make sure the Men of Gwent push European champions Toulouse all the way in this Saturday’s away Heineken Cup clash.
Turner said: “Toulouse are right at the top of the European game, they’re the defending champions and have the record number of European Cup wins – they’re a team you have to be excited about playing against.
“Even if we were top of the Magners League, this would still be a huge hurdle.”
“We’ll have to be bold. Although the scoreline didn’t reflect well on us we matched them in a lot of phases here. They’re a quality side – if you show any indiscipline the likes of Skrela will punish you, as will their back three if you give them the ball.
“We need to get the little things right and that can include things like making sure we catch the ball and not kicking directly to touch.”
“They’re a great side and we’re looking to give a good account of ourselves.”
