Two mountain bikes stolen

Police are appealing for witnesses after two mountain bikes were stolen from the One Planet Mountain bike centre in Llandegla.

At approximately 12.30pm on Saturday 6 February, two members of the public were out riding at the centre. On their return to the shop they placed their bikes outside.

Shortly afterwards two men were seen arriving at the shop on bikes. They then left a short time later on two new bikes, leaving their bikes at the shop.

On man was wearing a red cycling jacket with dark coloured 3/4 length shorts and carrying a rucksack on his back and the second man was in a dark coloured jacket and long dark trousers. Both males, who are believed to have cycled towards Wrexham, were wearing cycling helmets.

The two bikes that were stolen are described as an Orange make mountain bike (pictured) and a Specialized Enduro which was black with red writing.
