Teams are already lining up for the chance to take part in this year’s Tŷ Hafan “It’s a Knockout” challenge taking place on Sunday 24 July at the Police Headquarters Sports Ground in Bridgend.
Last year’s event was a huge success with thirty teams battling it out to become the first to win the coveted title. Look alike WWF wrestlers battled it out with the likes of teams from Dow Corning, MOD St Athan, and “The Chocolate Teapots” (RBS Insurance) during a day that involved plenty of water, foam and lots of fun and laughter.
“It was a fabulous day as well as a great team building exercise “commented Johanne Stacey-Davies a member of one of the teams. “It was very competitive but tremendous fun and we were all very happy to help raise money for Tŷ Hafan which provides such great support to life-limited children, young people and their families across Wales.
With music, children’s rides and attractions there will be plenty to occupy the younger ones while mum, dad or older brothers and sisters battle it out with the best.
To avoid having to turn teams away this year available places have been increased to forty so start getting your team of mates together for a great family day out.
