Budding screen writers are putting pen to paper to devise new scripts for the Flintshire Filmfest.
Under the direction of professional stage and screen writer Janys Chambers, who was nominated for a BAFTA for her work on ‘Emmerdale’, pupils from Golftyn CP School, Queenserry CP, Wepre CP and Ysgol Bryn Deva will be devising new film scripts for the Flintshire Filmfest.
Flintshire Filmfest is to be held at Clwyd Theatr Cymru on the 16/17 May 2011and is funded by Flintshire County Council and Deeside Community Arts.
Trefor Lloyd Roberts, Arts Development Officer, said:
“Flintshire is delighted to be giving quality opportunities for pupils from Flintshire schools to work alongside professional writers of such high calibre as Janys Chambers.”
