Two people have died in a road traffic collision on the A4093 at Gilfach Goch earlier today (Saturday, June 7)
A 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following the single-vehicle collision which happened at around 10.30am.
The BMW 1 Series convertible was travelling from Hendreforgan, Gilfach Goch, in the direction of Tonyrefail when it left the road.
A man and woman, who were passengers in the car, both suffered fatal injuries.
The passengers have not yet been formally identified but the next of kin have been informed and are being supported by family liaison officers.
An investigation is continuing.
