Police in the Vale of Glamorgan are investigating an extremely unusual crime – the theft of a chicken shed and six chickens.
The theft took place some time between 5.00pm on Friday December 3rd and 9.00 am the following morning. The large, home-made chicken shed was located at new allotments at Warren Mill Farm, between Bonvilston and the Hensol Forest Block.
Neighbourhood Beat Manager, Police Constable Mark Goulding said: “This Chicken House was home made and therefore unique, a one of a kind.
“This is the second theft of Chickens in the Vale in recent months and I ask any one who keeps chickens to make sure they are secured at night in an immovable coop.
