Police in Holyhead are appealing for information after a young woman was indecently assaulted in broad daylight.
The 22-year-old woman was walking along the Cob in Valley at around 2pm on Tuesday April 19, when she was approached by a man who was asking for directions. As she spoke to him he pulled out what was believed to be a knife and indecently assaulted her.
He is described as being aged between 25 and 35 years, he is between 5’3” and 5’6” tall, of muscular build and had grazes on one of his arms. He was wearing three quarter length light coloured trousers and a blue woollen hat which had flaps over his ears.
A 29-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and he has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
