Hit the road and set sail this weekend for Cardiff Bay to experience the Classic Car and Motorboat Show which returns to Cardiff Bay.
On Sunday, 14 August vintage and classic cars will fill Roald Dahl Plas, allowing car enthusiasts the opportunity to showcase their pride and joy to the public together with members of the Classic Motorboat Association of Great Britain exhibiting their motorboats.
The motorboats will launch from the Cardiff Yacht Club slipway and make their way to the pontoons at Roald Dahl Plass. During the day the motorboats will take part in slalom trials and parades with full commentary about the history of the boats given by members of the Association.
Ahead of the event on Sunday, Cardiff Mini Club will be hosting their annual rally on Saturday 13 August . Between 80 to 100 minis will cross the Barrage between 10.45am – 11.15am making their way to the Roald Dahl Plass for their show in the afternoon.
Executive Member for Sport, Leisure and Culture, Cllr Nigel Howells, said: ”Whether you’re a car or boat enthusiast or not the Classic Car and Motorboat Show is a great day out for all the family. This free event is a great way to spend a Sunday in the sunshine.”
