A working group is deciding how to spend £25,000 on a new play facility at the Cae Ddol park in Ruthin.
Following a public meeting on September 10, residents were given the opportunity to put forward their proposals as part of a new Participatory Budget (PB) scheme.
PB allows people to have a direct say on what they would like to spend public money on and this is the first time Denbighshire County Council has used the process.
The scheme is being overseen by Bill Ellis-Jones of Together Creating Communities.
Forms to have your say are available from County Hall or can be downloaded from the Ruthin Town Council website.
The working group, which consists of residents, a Denbighshire officer, Bill Ellis-Jones and local member, Councillor Bobby Feeley, will next meet on October 8 and then a further public meeting has been arranged for November 17 when a vote on the proposals will take place.
Further information on the process can be obtained from Bill on 07813 991550 or by e-mail, [email protected].
