Author Terri Wiltshire, who has just been shortlisted for the 2010 Wales Book of the year, will be heading to Pontarddulais Library this month to talk about her debut novel Carry Me Home.
Originally from Alabama but now a South Wales resident, Terri has been receiving rave reviews from critics and readers alike for her fictional tale about racism in America’s Deep South.
Author of six children’s books, Terri’s past careers including everything from journalism and sports presenting to waiting tables and a walk-on part in Dallas.
This week it was announced she has been selected as one of just three shortlisted authors for the prestigious 2010 Wales Book of the Year £10,000 prize.
On Monday June 21 at 6.30pm she will be chatting about her new novel and signing copies.
Tickets costing £1 include a glass of wine. Local bookshop Cover to Cover will be on hand for those who have yet to pick up a copy of the book.
