Wales v Barbarians Travel Advice

Wales take on the Barbarians  this Saturday in the first of their summer games at the Millennium Stadium.

The kick off is at 2.30pm and fans travelling to the match are advised to plan their journeys well in advance, arrive early and be aware of road closures in the city centre.

The best way to travel is by public transport and coach wherever possible. Fans who do intend bringing their cars into the city centre can ease worries over congestion and parking costs by car sharing and using park and ride services. The park and ride services cost £6 and coach parking costs £10.

Cars can access the park and ride site from junction 33 of the M4 and then following the signs to County Hall park and ride. The car park will be open from 9am, with the last bus leaving the pick-up point at 7pm. The car park will close at 7:30pm.  Park and ride buses provide disabled access via low floor buses.

There is also coach parking available at a cost of £10 per coach and coaches should leave the M4 at J32 again follow the signs to the dedicated coach parking areas at Sophia Gardens

There are a small number of road closures in place on Saturday. Westgate Street, Park Street and Havelock Lane will all be closed from 12.30 until 5.30pm.
