Walkers are urged to put their best foot forward and join a guided walk being arranged as part of the Denbigh Community Miles project.
The walk around Llwybr Pendref Dinbych will take place on Friday, 1 July, meeting at Denbigh Castle at 10am.
The Community Miles project looks at developing walking routes to a higher standard, making public rights of way easier to use and enabling walkers who are less mobile the chance to continue enjoying countryside walks.
This was a recommendation by the Denbighshire Local Access Forum and is one of the proposals the council identified in the 2008 Denbighshire Rights of Way Improvement Plan.
To compliment the route, a leaflet has been published with a map and local information such as local business telephone numbers and points of interest. This will be available in Denbigh Town Hall or on the website: www.denbighshirecountryside.org.uk
The project has been made possible through close working between Denbighshire County Council, Denbigh Town Council, Denbigh Conservation Group, Denbigh Business Group and local landowners.
To book a place on the walk please phone Loggerheads Country Park on 01352 810586
