Wallet Snatched from Pensioner: Appeal for Information

South Wales PoliceInformation is sought on an incident in Roath where a pensioner had his wallet stolen in his doorway.

The victim answered a knock on his front door at around 8pm on Monday, February 11 asking for change.

He then pushed the victim and snatched his wallet.

The suspect made off from Bedford Street towards Penlline Street, then possibly in the direction of City Road.

CCTV shows the area was busy at the time and officers are appealing for anyone who may have seen him to come forward.

He is described as white, aged 25 to 30, with short ginger hair, unshaven and was wearing dark rimmed round glasses, a black jacket, black jeans and white trainers.
