Officers in North Denbighshire and Conwy have this morning executed a series of search warrants under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
Acting on intelligence, officers executed six search warrants at various residential properties the Rhyl and Abergele areas. As a result of which, what is believed to be Class A and Class B drugs were recovered from three of the properties and will now be subject of forensic analysis.
A total of 19 officers were involved in today’s operation, which included members of the local Neighbourhood Policing Teams and response officers.
A 46-year-old woman was arrested at an address in Rhyl on suspicion of possessing a Class A drug and has been charged. She has been released on police bail to attend at Prestatyn Magistrates Court at a later date.
More arrests are anticipated.
