Youngsters can take part in a range of free activities at the Carmarthen River Festival this weekend at Quayside, Carmarthen.
Activities including children’s workshops, face painting and story sessions will be available and dance groups and circus groups will be putting on a spectacular show.
Carmarthenshire Youth Service will be settting the challenge of reaching the top of a 27 foot climbing wall. The multimedia Mobi vehicle, run in partnership by Carmarthenshire Youth Service and Plant Dewi will also be there, giving young people the opportunity to use the equipment on board and meet youth workers.
The 3Ts (Tywi, Teifi and Taff) Youth Team will soon be re-locating at the Quay Centre, formerly the Carmarthen Heritage Centre, and will offer targeted support for young people who are not in employment, education and training or who have particular needs.
The Quay Centre will also be the base for water-based activities including canoeing and kayaking.
