Ben & Jerry’s scoured the nation’s stages for months to find the top five thespian cows, impressive enough to truly stand out in their field. Thousands voted online and all five finalists had their jazz hooves crossed in anticipation of today’s result.
Clarabelle the beautiful black & white Friesian from the Kings Lynne Corn Exchange narrowly missed the top spot, but came a gallant second place missing out by just 1 per cent!
Dave was thrilled to triumph “I can’t believe I won! It’s moooovelous! To be crowned the winner and beat all of the other worthy panto cows has made my year! I want to thank everyone for voting for me and make sure you come and see me in my starring role in Jack and the Beanstalk. All that is left to say is Moorry Christmas!”
Mark Phillips, General Manager, from Porthcawl Grand Pavilion said “This is such good news for the Grand Pavilion, as there was a fire in April which caused major damage to the stage area and a number of shows and a youth theatre performance were cancelled. The winnings will go towards new stage curtains and a moving spot light for Dave”
