Commenting on the publication of figures showing another fall in unemployment in Wales, William Graham AM, Shadow Minister for Business, said:
“These are very welcome figures showing that the Conservative long term economic plan to see Britain on the rise is delivering across the country.
“This year, the UK is set to be the fastest growing country in the G7, while the millions of new private sector jobs have the potential to bring prosperity and gradually eradicate poverty in deprived communities.
“These very positive employment figures will come as another blow to Labour who gleefully predicted economic decline would result from tackling the debt crisis.
“The Labour-run Welsh Government must now start to use the economic levers at its control to create the conditions in which entrepreneurship can flourish.
“I hope that all communities in Wales will soon experience the benefits of the economic recovery and urge the Welsh Government to facilitate private sector growth which will bring prosperity to Welsh communities.”
