Commenting on the Minister for Rural Affairs’ announcement of a consultation into new legislation to control Bovine TB, Shadow Rural Affairs Minister Brynle Williams AM said:
“I welcome this announcement and the Minister’s on-going commitment to eradicating this disease.
“Wales cannot afford to sit back and ignore the threat posed by bovine TB.
“This disease has taken a terrible toll on the farming industry.
“I urge all those affected by bovine TB to contribute to this consultation to ensure that the voice of rural Wales is heard.”
