Commenting on the outcome of the judicial review into the proposed badger cull in Pembrokeshire, Shadow Minister for Rural Affairs Brynle Williams AM said:
“I am relieved that this decision has been made and that the fight to combat this dreadful disease can continue as planned.
“We support the Assembly Government’s measures to combat the spread of bovine TB.
“This pilot scheme is an important step in the fight against the disease.
“We cannot afford to sit back and ignore the very real threat posed by bovine TB to animal health and the farming industry.”
