The WLGA has today launched a new web based Collaboration Compendium, a live and easy to use tool which holds information about collaborative projects and joint working across Wales. The Compendium is being hosted by the Local Government Data Unit Wales.
The WLGA has maintained a Collaboration Compendium since 2006, however, this new, web based version, is unique in that it is a live tool that will be continuously updated with new information, and will allow users to refine a search in order to look at specific subject areas/services or particular regions in Wales.

Steve Thomas CBE, WLGA Chief Executive said:
“Since the establishment of the WLGA Regional Partnership Boards in 2006, the WLGA has maintained a Regional Collaboration Compendium to collate information about collaborative projects and joint working in Wales. The large volume of material in each of our editions of the compendium is a clear testament to the commitment of local government and our partners towards the modernisation and reform of public services in Wales.”
“Over time, the Compendium has become an extensive and well used resource, and we have continued to update the format, but all static publications have their limitations. With the help of the Local Government Data Unit, Wales, we’ve now taken the Compendium to a new level by converting it into a new user friendly and live web based too which can be regularly updated with new information.”
