The body of a woman has been found in the Erddig Park area of Wrexham.
Police investigating the disappearance of Mrs. Valerie Williams, who has been missing from her home in Ffordd Meilyn, Wrexham, since last Wednesday (October 7) are at the scene and officers are supporting her son Gwyn through what is clearly a difficult time.
The body, which has not yet been formally identified, was found at about 9 am today by a man walking in the area.
The area where the body was found had been searched by officers, dogs and thermal imaging over the past week as part of the investigation into Mrs. Williams’ disappearance.
The woman’s apparently unexplained death is being investigated by North Wales Police and a Home Office Pathologist will carry out a Post Mortem.
