December 1 is World Aids Day. A number of events are being held in Wales to mark the day. Some of them are listed below.

- 1st December: Aids Memorial Tree, Gorsedd Gardens, Cardiff – placing red ribbons on the tree – 1.30pm

- 1st December: Health stand at Chapter Arts Centre, Canton, Cardiff – all day event
- 1st December: Canteen at Royal Gwent Hospital, Newport – 11am – 2pm
- 1st December: University Hospital in Wales, Heath Park, Cardiff – Health Stand and fundraiser in the concourse – 10am onwards
- 1st December: Cabaret Evening at Company Bar, Cardiff Bay – 8pm ’til late
