The award-winning Cardiff County and Vale of Glamorgan Youth Wind Band will perform at City Hall later this month.
With an entertaining programme of music including film classics from renowned Italian composer Ennio Morricone and German composer Klaus Badelt, this is a concert not to be missed on Monday, November 14, 7.30pm.
The Youth Wind Band were the Platinum Award Winners at the National Concert Band Festival in Glasgow earlier this year. Tickets are available on the door priced at £6 and £4 for concessions.
Executive Member for Education and Lifelong Learning, Cllr Freda Salway, said: “An evening listening to the Cardiff County and Vale of Glamorgan Youth Wind Band is always extremely enjoyable. The musical programme is very entertaining and I’m sure next week’s concert of film classics will be no different.
“The Youth Wind Band is very highly regarded and has once again been invited to take part in the New York International Wind Festival in 2013 so this is another great opportunity to see our homegrown talent in action.”
