Young people making it happen for themselves

A new Integrated Youth Service has been developed for young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN), aged 11-14 years old.

This new service is a pilot project and is the result of a partnership project between The Youth Service, Social Services Disability Team and The Willows Centre.

It has been developed so that young people with Special Educational Needs can access open access youth provision with other young people from across the County Borough.

Young people will have access to all facilities within the club and be able to join in all workshops, activities and courses, these can be adapted to suit individual or group needs.

Activities include:

  • Information & Advice on a wide range of topics
  • Pool
  • Arts & Crafts
  • Table Tennis
  • Cookery
  • Football
  • Beauty Workshops
  • Xbox and Wii Games
  • Duke of Edinburgh Award

The activities will take place at the Willows Centre, Troedyrhiw on Friday evenings from 6:15pm until 8:15pm.
