School children from Brynmawr Comprehensive School, Blaenau Gwent, got up close and personal with the wildlife living on their doorstep this week.
The 12-13 year old pupils joined countryside officers from Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council to explore the natural wonders around them at Beaufort Hills Pond and Woodland Local Nature Reserve.
