Children flocked to Ynysangharad War Memorial Park, Pontypridd, to paint bird boxes in a special event run by Parks staff.
Youngsters aged from two to 11 winged their way to the bowls pavilion building to get busy with paint, and they were pleased with their colourful creations.
Parks staff are planning to run more events throughout the year, including Paint a Pot for Mother’s Day on Saturday, March 13 from 11am-4pm. To book your place in advance, please call the park on 01443 404699.
Ynysangharad War Memorial Park, in the heart of Pontypridd, will also welcome thousands of visitors this summer when it hosts major events including food festival the Big Welsh Bite and Ponty’s Big Weekend in July.
