Young people from Caerphilly county borough’s Youth Forum got ‘on their bikes’ recently to support a very worthy cause.
Each year the Youth Forum chooses a charity to support – this year, they have chosen Cancer Research Wales, an organisation that raises funds to support cancer research projects in Wales.
As part of this, the Youth Forum recently took part in a gruelling 16-mile family bike ride to raise money for this excellent cause. The sun shone, spirits were high, and to top it all, the Youth Forum raised in excess of £300!
Youth Worker, Lee Kabza said, “The guys who took part should be really proud of themselves – they all helped raise a fantastic amount for this extremely worthwhile cause”.
