Work is about to begin at Ysgol Llywelyn, Rhyl on improvements to the school parking area.
The scheme will be in two phases, with the first stage to be completed before the children return to school in September. The first phase will improve the existing car park with spaces being marked out and footpaths and crossing points clearly identified.
The second phase is a creation of a new parking area for staff and visitors , with approximately 30 spaces on the school site. The area is currently grass land which is not utilised by the school. This will hopefully be completed by October half term.
This project will make a difference to the school as it will also help the traffic flow during busy periods at the school such as home time. It will also help alleviate parking issues around nearby residential areas.
