Competition gives public a taste for raising money for St Davids lifeboat

St Davids lifeboat station was given a welcome donation on Wednesday after a cawl tasting competition raised money for the RNLI.

On Saturday February 26 the Really Wild Festival organised a cawl tasting competition to mark St Davids Day.

The event took place at the City Hall in St Davids where entrants from different catering outlets taking part.

Members of the public were invited to taste the cawl and give a mark and as a result Tanya Guy of the Farmers Arms won.

Monies raised by this event were donated to the St Davids RNLI Station, for which the RNLI is very grateful.
