RNLI in dryland rescue for diabetic

On Wednesday April 14th at 4:45am a 55yr old male holidaymaker suffered a severe Diabetic attack at St Davids RNLI Station.

The man’s wife came running into the station’s crew room requesting urgent assistance. Coxswain David John together with three RNLI volunteers went to his assistance. Medication was administered to the man from the lifeboat’s first aid kit.

After 20mins he was taken into the crew room where he was given tea. After 45mins he made a complete recovery and was able to return with wife to his car. They were escorted by RNLI crew.
