‘Focus Week’ held in Holyhead

An area of Holyhead has had a spring clean thanks to the efforts of local Police Community Support Officers and volunteers.

During the half term holiday a ‘Focus Week’ was held in the town, the purpose of which was to clean up areas that needed attention.

Activities such as gardening, removing graffiti and litter-picks were held with volunteers from Morlo Communities First, the Youth Action Team and volunteer Police Cadet, Dion Roberts.

PCSO Sarah Jones said: “This was excellent teamwork by everybody. Events such as this help to show pride in our communities and everybody should be proud on what they have achieved.”
