“Cracking” Gift for AM from Towyn Craft Group

A craft group in Kinmel Bay has been praised for their work by their local Assembly Member.

The Chester Avenue Craft Group in Kinmel Bay made two mosaics for local Clwyd West AM Darren Millar to hang in his constituency office. The mosaics were presented to Darren Millar as a gift at a ceremony in Community House last week. The Craft Group was established in as part of the Communities First programme in Kinmel Bay.

Commenting on the mosaics, Darren Millar said:

“I’m incredibly touched by this gift from the Craft Group. This skill and workmanship on the mosaics is incredible. What a cracking gift!

“The mosaics will be taking pride of place on the wall in my Abergele office.

Victoria Parker, Director of The Craft Company said:

“The Craft Group have tackled the mosaics for Darren Millar with enthusiasm, I am so proud of them.”
