£150, 000 grant programme available to renovate non residential buildings

A £150,000 grant programme is now available to help renovate non-residential buildings in Mold, Holywell, Talacre and Gronant.

Flintshire County Council recently launched its new ‘Streetscape Improvement Grant’ scheme at our Flintshire Regeneration Conference in Mold.

This discretionary grant scheme aims to enhance the physical environment of the target areas mentioned above. It is available to property owners and tenants who are small to medium sized businesses, or public sector bodies that wish to make improvements to enhance the exterior of a building and to raise the quality of the overall built environment.

This scheme is available as a result of securing the finance from Rural Development Plan for Wales 2007-2013 funding, which is funded by the Welsh Government and European Agriculture Fund for Rural Development.

For further information about this scheme please contact Carol Moore, Regeneration Project Officer, Flintshire County Council on 01352 702135.
