South Wales Police are investigating a high value theft that occurred at S&K Haulage Ltd, David Davies Road, in Barry at approximately 1.30 pm on Sunday the 20th April.
The persons responsible entered a secure compound with a ‘Daf’ Type lorry with a blue roof spoiler. The suspects have then removed one of the company’s trailer units and its contents which included aluminium ingots. The company’s trailer had white doors with yellow side curtains and the company’s insignia written in red.
The last sighting of the lorry and the trailer was at approximately 2pm at Port Road, Wenvoe travelling towards Culverhouse Cross, Cardiff.
CID officers in Barry police station are appealing for any witnesses who may have witnessed the theft or have sighted the distinctive lorry and the trailer
