Neath Fatal RTC: Victim Named

Gareth DaviesA man who died in a fatal road traffic collision at Cadoxton Terrace in Cadoxton, Neath during the early hours of Friday 18th April has been named as Gareth Davies, a 27-year-old steelworker from the Aberdulais area of Neath.

In a statement his family said:

“He was a devoted son to Andrew and Rhian and a special brother to Lisa and Stephen. He is irreplaceable and will be sadly missed by all his family and many friends.

“We would like to thank everyone for their kindness and support but ask please that no floral tributes are placed at the collision scene.”

Mr Davies was riding a motorcycle in the direction of Neath town centre and died after being involved in a collision with a parked vehicle at around 2am.

Anyone who saw the collision or witnessed the riding the motorcycle prior to the collision should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously 0800 555 111.
