There was Murray madness at Caerphilly Tennis Club on Saturday 21st June, with free taster sessions for everyone to celebrate the start of Wimbledon.
The club offered free sessions for children aged from 4 to 16 and also offered girls only sessions and beginner adult sessions. Nearly 50 people of all ages turned up throughout the day, which marked the beginning of Great British Tennis Weekends and Wimbledon.
The club will hold another open day on Sunday 29th June with fun for the whole family. There will be on court activities and challenges as well as free play all day. There will also be a BBQ, refreshments and a raffle.
Caerphilly Tennis Club is this year celebrating its 25th birthday. For the Wimbledon Fortnight if you purchase a membership with the club for the 2014/15 season, junior membership will be just £25 while all other membership packages will be discounted by 25%.
