Detectives in Swansea are appealing for information following a sexual assault, which happened near to the Essence Night Club on The Kingsway, Swansea, at about 1.30am on Friday 22nd January.
The victim a 20 year female together with the male suspect went to a secluded alcove in a lane running between the premises of Barclays Bank and Bar Tahiti on The Kingsway; it was here that the she was attacked.
The suspect is described as male, white, 18 to 20 years, 511 tall, slim build, long fair straight hair, wearing a blue short sleeve shirt, and a grey round neck shirt underneath with a large skull motif on the front, black skinny jeans and dark shoes.
Detective Inspector Andy Hughes who is leading the investigation said “Although this incident happened during the early hours of the morning, there would still have been a number of people in and around the vicinity of the Kingsway, who may well have seen this man or even know him, as the tee shirt with the skull motif is quite distinctive”
“I would urge anyone who was in the nightclub or in the area outside the club at the relevant time and saw this man, or can assist in his identity to come forward”
“I would like to reassure members of the public that incidents of this nature in Swansea are few and far between”
