Bored? Just add water with a visit to Cardiff International White Water.  For a real bonding experience, why not try White Water Rafting?  With six people to a raft there’s room for everyone from white water veterans to complete beginners and even kids (8+) can run the rapids on one of the Family Rafting sessions where they lower the level and speed of the water.  If rafting does float your boat why not try indoor surfing, canoeing, kayaking or stand up paddle boarding?  Prices and session times vary so visit www.ciww.com to find out more..

Culture seekers can take a short boat ride to Flat Holm and experience the magic of island life. Follow in the footsteps of monks, smugglers and Vikings and learn more about the fascinating history of the island. Wildlife watchers should make sure they have their camera as Flat Holm is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a unique haven for flora and fauna. Visitors can round off the trip with a drink in the cosy island pub and a visit to the Victorian Barracks gift shop.  To find out more about scheduled day trips visit www.flatholmisland.com
