Commenting on the publication of the Manufacturing Forum’s vision for the future of the industry, Darren Millar AM, Shadow Minister for the Economy said:
“This document clearly sets out the Manufacturing Forum’s plans for the years ahead and we welcome this vision wholeheartedly.
“What must now follow is the detailed WAG manufacturing strategy that has been promised to Wales for well over three years.
“The First Minister has repeatedly said it is taking time to complete.
“After the years of delays, Wales should justifiably expect a lengthy and detailed strategy, following on from today’s 10 page brief.
“Labour-Plaid should have been working closely with the Forum on a government strategy and the First Minister needs to clarify exactly when we can expect it.”
