The SEACAMS project, running in the School of Ocean Sciences, Bangor University is inviting people to visit an exhibition to look at and discuss their plans for the redevelopment of the Westbury Mount site in Menai Bridge.
They told us:
“We are proud of our heritage in Menai Bridge and our reputation as a leading international research institution. SEACAMS is creating a new Innovation Centre as an integrated part of the School of Ocean Sciences, to induce investment in the marine sector in Wales. This development aims to produce a building of high design quality and environmental sustainability which will enhance the environment in the local area. We invite locals to view our plans, get information and share their views,” said Professor Colin Jago, Director of SEACAMS and Head of the College of Natural Sciences at Bangor University.
The public exhibition will be open Thursday 15 September 10am – 8pm, Friday 16 September 10am – 4pm, Saturday 17 September 10am – 2pm and Sunday 18 September 2pm – 4pm. At Uxbridge House, Uxbridge Square, Menai Bridge (formerly the ‘Menai Ski & Outdoor’ shop in the centre of the town).
