The “mean” teacher from the Snowdonia 1890 television programme which took two families back to life in the late 1890s in Rhosgadfan will present the next Lloyd George Museum Lecture on Friday, 21 October 2011.
John Dilwyn Williams, who is Gwynedd Council’s Archives and Museums Education Officer will talk about “Teaching in Snowdonia Farmhouse 1890″ as part of the lecture which will be held at the Lloyd George Museum at Llanystumdwy.
The lecture on Friday, 21 October will get underway at 7.30pm. Tickets are £5 and free for Friends of the Lloyd George Museum.
The Gwynedd Council-run Lloyd George Museum, Llanystumdwy is open Mondays to Fridays (11am to 4pm) throughout October. The museum includes a wide-variety of items relating to the former prime minister. For more information visit: www.gwynedd.gov.uk/museums
