Ruthin based Waterco Ltd., a specialist consultancy for the UK water industry and developers has achieved the prestigious Investors in People award, the most successful framework for business improvement through people in the UK.
Waterco joins an exclusive group of UK employers eligible to use and display the sought after Investors in People logo and plaque and enjoy its benefits.

Waterco Ltd was established in 1998 and employs 22 members of staff with most of them local to Ruthin. The company is continuing to expand by exploiting niche markets such as the hydraulic modelling required for flood risk assessments; and providing specialist water and drainage design services to the water utilities and public authorities. Clients include Dwr Cymru Welsh Water, Network Rail and Denbighshire County Council.
Darren Millar, AM for Clwyd West recently visited Waterco to officially present the plaque to Peter Jones.
Speaking at the presentation Darren congratulated Waterco for all their hard work to achieve the IIP accreditation.
He said: “It is great to see a local business growing and it is absolutely fantastic to see them doing so well. Awards like Investors In People are for companies who invest and appreciate their staff and that is obviously the case here.”
