With less than a month until the close of nominations for standing as a councillor in May’s county, community or town council elections, Monmouthshire County Council is urging potential candidates to request and complete their nomination papers as early as possible.
While candidates won’t be able to submit nomination papers until 28th March 2012, the Returning Officer for the elections is offering to informally check candidates’ nomination papers before the period for submission of nominations. All nomination papers must be submitted by noon, 4th April 2012.
