Glyn Davies, Montgomeryshire’s Conservative MP, has today said he was ‘delighted’ to receive the first issue of Everything Local, a new monthly magazine with news from the Welshpool and Newtown area.
The magazine is edited by Emma and Andy, whose Twitter accounts @WelshpoolBestOf and @NewtownBestOf raise awareness of local businesses and events happening for people living in the area and have a total of over 1600 followers.
Glyn Davies said “I was delighted to receive my first copy of Everything Local this week. My office follows both Twitter accounts and they’re an invaluable tool for keeping up with local events and seeing the success many local businesses are having.
“Magazines like Everything Local are an excellent way to bring communities together and to strengthen the relationship between local people and services. I wish Emma and Andy every success with this latest endeavour.”
