The long-awaited reopening of the Holm View Salon, based at Holm View Leisure Centre in Barry, will take place on Monday, 14 December.
Once open, the salon, which is run by the Vale of Glamorgan Council’s lifelong learning employment training service, will offer a full range of hairdressing services all at reasonable costs.
Local hair stylist Ri Christie, who will be running the salon, said: “Everyone knows there’s a credit crunch on and so people will be looking for a cheaper way to look their best this Christmas. We offer a full range of affordable hair options all in relaxing surroundings.”
The salon will be open for appointments between 9am and 4pm from 14 December to 23 December, with complimentary tea, coffee and mince pies on offer, and will reopen again after the Christmas break on 4 January 2010.
