Exercise referral at Risca Leisure CentreOn Friday 30th May, Caerphilly County Borough Council will be lifting the lid on a day in the life of its Leisure Services department.

Leisure Services operate 12 leisure facilities across the county borough, including eight fitness suites, six swimming pools and four health suites and are committed to the provision and development of sport and recreation and always strive to ensure that facilities and services are available and accessible to all.

This unique insight will show the work that the Leisure Services team do to ensure at Caerphilly residents are fit, well and healthy and highlight the range of activities available to everyone.  From swimming instructors teaching lifesaving skills to fitness suite staff helping customers achieve their goals – all teams will be using social media during the day.

Cllr. David Poole, Cabinet Member for Community and Leisure Services said “I encourage everyone to follow a day in the life of Leisure Services on social media.  It’s a great opportunity to see what goes on in our Leisure Centres on a daily basis and to see the impact of the work they do on the local community.”
