A day to “treasure” ths half term in Cardiff Bay

Enjoy our special event this half term at the Cardiff Bay Visitor Centre (CBVC) with a pirate themed day children will treasure! They will be able to take part in a variety of great activities and also see some of the fantastic pirate themed products available.

For the day the CBVC has teamed up with Craft in the Bay to run creative sessions so your little ones can create their own characters. If they are feeling particularly adventurous they can even create an entire 3D pirate story making parrots, palm trees, treasure chests and even galleons!

There will also be a special storytelling session at midday with all your favourite pirate stories read to you by ‘Pirate Vikki’ from Borders bookshop!

Councillor Nigel Howells, Executive Member for Sport, Leisure and Culture said, “We anticipate this event to be hugely popular as it will be great fun for the children to be involved in and keep them busy over the half term holiday. We have teamed up with both Craft in the Bay and Borders who are excellent partners in some of our themed days and are extremely good at keeping the children entertained and creative over the holidays”.
