Essential works are planned at the intersection of the A541/Berse Road/Plas Coch Road roundabout as part of routine maintenance and scheduled capacity improvement works.
The works are being funded in part by the Welsh Government as part of a committed programme of highway improvement works promoted by Taith the North Wales Regional Transport Consortia.
The works are due to begin on 17th October and will take approximately six weeks to complete.
Cllr David Bithell, Lead Mermber for Environment and Transport said:
“This is an important junction for Wrexham as it is the main gateway for traffic in and out of the Town Centre. These planned improvement works will help to improve traffic flows and reduce congestion.
“Although every effort will be made to minimise disruption whilst the works are undertaken, delays will be inevitable given the volumes of traffic in the area. Motorists are being asked for their patience while these essential works are undertaken.”
