Aberdare House Robbery – Appeal for Witnesses

South Wales PolicePolice in Aberdare are investigating a robbery that took place in a house in Bryntirion, Mountain Ash, at approximately 10.30pm on Sunday 26th January 2014.

Two men entered the property through the front door; the first man remained in the hallway, whilst the second male proceeded to make his way into the living room and assaulted the 66 year old female before leaving the property through the front door with a quantity of cash.

The first suspect responsible for the assault is described as white, slim build, aged in his mid teens, wearing a light grey hooded top and dark trousers. There is no description of the second suspect.

Police are appealing for witnesses who may be able to assist in identifying the suspects.
